green smoothie - for energy & nutrition
High in minerals, fibre and pure vitality.
Blend finely:
1. A handful greens - spinach, kale, chard, green cabbage, parsley, rocket or watercress - rotate spinach particularly to avoid excess oxalic acid.
2. A chopped apple/pear/other seasonal fruit (not orange, banana or tropical fruit)
3. Two + cups water to taste
4. 1tsp lecithin & 2 tsp cold pressed flax oil
5. 1/4 -1 tsp. barley grass powder
6. Add any of the following to your liking;
natural yogurt, tahini or hemp powder - for protein
squeeze of lemon & fresh ginger - for taste
